The Last Word
Say: ‘Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Falsehood is always bound to vanish.’ (17/81)
Finally we will finish with a very important verse which we started with. In this verse God specifically says that Satan has authority over those who associate others with their Lord; for this reason associating partners or a son to God can never lead to true righteousness; He (Satan) only has authority over those who take him as a friend and associate others with Allah. Allah’s Forever
Say: ‘Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are for Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds: (6/162)

The Eternal Nightmare of Shirk
If anyone associates anything with Allah, Allah has forbidden him the Garden and his refuge will be the Fire.’ the wrongdoers will have no helpers. (5/72)
As we said above, many people who associate others with God think that they will inherit Paradise. In God’s final book the Qur’an He reminds His servants that this is definitely not the case. Associating others with God the “Al-Wahid” (The One) is actually the start of a nightmare at the end of which God will actually forbid Paradise for those who commit this atrocity. For example those who worship only God also sin, but because they worship only Him they will receive His boundless mercy; a great example can be seen in the following Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh);
Narrated By Abu Dhar : The Prophet said, "Gabriel said to me, 'Whoever amongst your followers die without having worshipped others besides Allah, will enter Paradise (or will not enter the (Hell) Fire)." The Prophet asked. "Even if he has committed illegal sexual intercourse or theft?" He replied, "Even then." (Bukhari: Volume 004, Book 054, Hadith Number 445)

CONCLUSION:
Shirk (associating with God) Can Never Eradicate Immorality
He (Satan) only has authority over those who take him as a friend and associate others with Allah. (16/100)
All this leads us to our final and very important fact; that is “Shirk” can never eradicate immorality and lead to true righteousness. This is a fact (communicated to us in the above verse) which is clearly obvious to the one who worships God alone, because this is man‘s nature, but not necessarily to one who practices “shirk“; Say: ’Are they the same - those who know and those who do not know?’ (39/9). The blind and the seeing are not the same nor are darkness and light…(35/19,20); Those who practice shirk can be considered spiritually impaired , because they are perverting their human nature which was created to feel peace in the awareness of One God; Anyone who associates others with Allah has committed a terrible crime. (4/48) Only in the remembrance and taqwa of One God can one shun immorality and achieve a righteous character; Goodness does not lie in turning your faces to the East or the West. Rather those with true devoutness are those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, the Angels, the Book and the Prophets,…(2/177).
Associating with God does not have a particularly strong effect in precluding immorality or in distinguishing between the real good and bad; Why have those they took as gods besides Allah, to bring them near to Him not come to their aid? No infact they have forsaken them! That was a fiction, something they invented. (46/28); in the Qur’an God informs us of the supremacy of having taqwa in Him alone; …O you who believe! if you have taqwa of Allah, He will give you (furqaanan) discrimination…(8/29).
If one has taqwa of God alone only then can he judge between what is the real good and the real bad, those who associate with God will argue against this and defend their act of “shirk” but in the Qur’an God informs us of another important fact; Say: 'Bad things and good things are not the same, even though the abundance of the bad things may seem attractive to you.' Have taqwa of Allah, people of intelligence, so that hopefully you will be successful. (5/100)
…those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish the prayer and pay zakat, and fear none but Allah. They are the ones most likely to be guided. (9/18)

Shirk Leads to Ruin
That is part of the wisdom your Lord has revealed to you. Do not set up another god together with Allah and so be thrown into Hell, blamed and driven out. (17/39)
Narrated By 'Abdullah : I asked Allah's Apostle "What is the biggest sin in the sight of Allah?" He said, "To set up rivals unto Allah though He alone created you." I said, "In fact, that is a tremendous sin,"… (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 009, Book 093, Hadith Number 611)
Shirk is actually one of the greatest sins in the sight of God. In one verse of the Qur’an He reminds us that it is an unforgivable sin; Allah does not forgive anything being associated with Him but He forgives whoever He wills for anything other than that. Anyone who associates something with Allah has gone very far astray. (4/116) Taking this into account we can see what a dangerous way Shirk is which destroys any chance one has of success in the Hereafter; the astonishing thing is that most people who commit shirk are deluded into thinking that they will enter paradise; on the contrary they are committing a major sin against their Lord the “One” and “Only”; which will lead to definite ruin; The gods they called upon besides Allah did not help them at all when Allah’s command came upon them. They did nothing but increase their ruin. (11/101)

Nothing Like the Tawhid
Only in the remembrance of Allah can the heart find peace.’ (13/28)
For True Believers (Muslims) they can clearly see the error of those who associate others with Allah, this is no doubt through the light of faith and the Tawhid and through employing their conscience properly. The true believer who believes in God and His Oneness has the most correct judgement and knowledge inspired by the amount of taqwa (fear, respect, awareness) he has of Allah his Lord; …O you who believe! if you have taqwa of Allah, He will give you (furqaanan) discrimination…(8/29).
To give an analogy of this unique quality of discrimination; the believer can be thought of as someone standing at the top of a lighthouse who sees the error of all those who associate others with His Lord. In other words the view the believer has from the lighthouse is better than the view of those who commit shirk, for those who commit shirk are like someone outside the lighthouse at the bottom, they can see only a limited view of what is around them, for example if they were to try and look at the other side of the lighthouse they would not be able to, whereas the believer at the top sees them and everything else clearly, full circle. One of the reasons for this analogy is to give an example of the unique quality of discernment particular only to true believers who believe in the oneness of God; but it also shows an example of the kind of heedlessness those who commit shirk are. These people will claim that there is noting peculiar about associating others with God despite the fact that it is against human nature and against good common sense and conscience. In a verse of the Qur’an Allah gives us a great example of how those who commit shirk corrupt their human nature; Be people of pure natural belief in Allah, not associating others with Him. As for anyone who associates others with Allah, it is as though he had fallen from the sky and the birds seized him away or the wind had dropped him in a distant place. (22/31)

Introduction
God created the universe, He created all that exists from nothingness, Have they not seen how Allah brings creation out of nothing, then reproduces it? That is easy for Allah. (29/19), besides Him there is no other god. The Arabic word for the Oneness of God is Tawhid. The Tawhid is the purest and most peaceful comprehension man can have of God and the reason for this is simple “there is only One God”. God revealed to all nations through His messengers the same fundament of faith; We sent no Messenger before you without revealing to him: ‘There is no god but Me so worship Me.’ (21/25) .
To comprehend and feel peace in the Tawhid is mans true nature, this is the way God created man and his soul, in a verse of the Qur’an God informs man of shirk (associating with God) through Luqman’s advice to his son; When Luqman said to his son, counselling him, ‘My son, do not associate anything with Allah. Associating others with Him is a terrible wrong.’ (31/13)
Despite the lucidity and superiority of the Tawhid some of mankind commit a heinous crime against their ownselves and God. This is known as the Arabic word shirk; to associate with God others; whether that is associating offspring or partners. God always revealed to all nations the Tawhid through His Messengers, He ordered His slaves to worship none but Him. But for many of these nations the religion their Messengers came with, which was always fundamentally “Islam” was corrupted; It has been revealed to you and those before you: ‘If you associate others with Allah, your actions will come to nothing and you will be among the losers.
